Since 1980's, the focus of management study turned from economic factor of enterprise conduct to cultural factor. The contrast study of cross-cultural management was emphasized. So the concept of cross-cultural conflict came into being. The Sino-foreign joint-venture enterprise is the combination of capital technology commodity s labor force and management from surface and shallow degree. But its essence is the conflict and amalgamation of two different culture-east and west.The thesis demonstrates the cross-cultural conflict of China-foreign joint-venture enterprises in every stage concretely according to time order. It is based on other specialists' research results and author's investigation and interview. And it explains author's opinion with some case-study of Dongfeng Peugeot citroen antomobile company 1.t.d primarily. It also suggests some disposal method and solution. A predictable matrix of cross-cultural conflict and a flow chart of integrated solution are put forward.In the first chapter, the paper introduces the academic basis of cross-cultural conflict and analyzed internal and external scholar's main points.The second chapter illuminates Sino-foreign joint-venture enterprise's particular cross-cultural conflict in every aspect , which contains its definitions character classify and so on. Its bad effect to enterprise management is also mentioned. At the end of this chapter, a flow chart of cross-cultural conflict with time order is established.The third chapter discusses cross-cultural conflict in the first stage of joint-venture enterprise's buildup, which includes foreign immoral investment incentive different value system and communication style of JV enterprise's buildup negotiate.
