Research On Materials Management Under The Circumstance Of Supply Chain

With the development of science technology and the innovation of management concept, the entrepreneurs improve the business management level better and better. But the companies in our country are still confronting variable problems, such as the globalization of the market plants purchases, the changing customers' needs and the inventory problems resulted from the inexact forecast. These problems embody the obsolete method of materials management and the lower work effect. And materials management is the core part of manufacture management. So advancing the materials management level is critical for advancing the business management and improve the economic efficient.With the integration of the global economic, people find none of the company can be the best in all business under the global competitive market circumstance, and they should make the best of the resources to adapt to the competition and strengthen their own competition by cooperating with the related companies and establishing supply chain of close business. Therefore, the management resources extend from the interior to the exterior. If companies in the supply chain can incorporate their segregated plans into the supply chain plans to realize the resources and the information share, they will attain advantages with the minimum cost and therefore improve their strength on a whole in the market. For example, under the circumstance of the plans made by the supply chain, the companies can minimize the inventory, and thus one company can gain the exact products on time. So the logistics are sped up, and materials in inventory are decreased, and at the same time, the supply chain can catch the changes of the consumer market.Supply chain management is to conciliate and to control the logistics , the information flow and the capital flow amongst supply chain member fordecreasing the cost and increasing the profit and improving the service level. Based on the advanced management concept, this paper researches on materials management applying with the concept. This paper consists of five segments. Firstly, the paper summarizes supply chain management concept, and points out the main difference of materials management under the circumstance of supply chain and that of traditional management. Secondly, this paper lists the primary contents of materials management under the circumstance of supply chain. Thirdly, this paper analyzes some basic tactics applying with advanced supply chain management concept, including vendor choosing methods ABC inventory method, order tactics. inventory management tactics and materials movement tactics. The contents dealt with these tactics are crucial for materials management. Applying with the proper tactics will improve largely the management efficient. Fourthly, this part analyzes further supplier collaborative tactics in the aspect of materials management based on mutual cooperation. It analyzes the supplier collaboration flow in the view of information system. Lastly, this part proves the practicability of the collaborative tactics from the aspects of the collaborative tactics software system. In conclude, this paper researches on materials management from the primary contents to tactics step by step.
