The Study On Elderly-Security In Rural Areas Of Middle And Western China

Who can provide the support for the elderly is one of the key problems of the aging of population. Whether in the absolute or relative amount, the rural aged population in middle and western China is in the majority. They depend on the family to provide them the support, but family support for the elderly is weakened by several reasons. Are they afraid their elderly-security? And what is the way to solve the elderly-security problem in the rural areas in middle and western China?First, the paper takes a qualitative analysis on the background, present situation and importance of elderly-security in the rural areas in middle and western China. Then, on the basis of this, the paper builds the theory frame of the influencing factors on the elderly-security attitude of the farmers in middle and western rural areas, and uses the data collected in Tianmen city, Hubei province, and Zunyi city, Guizhou province to analyze the different factors by Logistic Regress Model. Finally, according to the different factors influencing the elderly-security attitude of farmers in middle and western China, the paper proposes the corresponding ways to solve the elderly-security problem in rural areas of middle and western China.
