The Study Of Analysis And Evaluation Of Medium Or Small City Sustainable Development

After it was brought forward,the theory of sustainable development is becoming focus and the newest question for discussion,along with the matter of resource and environment increasingly standing out in the world. Basing on the analysis about the actuality of city development in Chinese,this paper thinks that it takes on important practical sense to study on urban sustainable development. The UN has proposed the Global Agenda for 21st Century for global action of sustainable development. It suggests that China must choose the road of sustainable development through integrating economic,social,population,resource and environmental considerations in the decision-making of socio-economic development and puts forward the action scheme of implementing sustainable development strategy in China. And this paper try to offer a quantitative way for decision-maker to resolve the regulation problem of the city system, and make the decision-maker realize the actuality of city development in time, and then give a methodological help to decision-maker for making city decision. To answer a series of important questions during the transformation,this paper puts forward the connotation,objectives and definition of AHP and discusses the system analysis and evaluation problems of it. First of all,the treatise reviews the contents of comprehensive evaluation of urban sustainable development in China & other countries, which gives the background of theories and methods for the paper as whole. On the basis of theory effects & practice effects,the indictors'system of urban sustainable development was provided applying the methods of combination of qualitative and quantitative. Then,based on the theoretic discussion and quantitative analysis,a case study on the current situation and ability of Sanhe City's sustainable development is done with the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)and some other methods according to a large number of practical data. Finally,some suggestions and countermeasures are given,which is useful for the establishment and implementation of Sanhe city's sustainable development strategy.
