| With the integration of farm product market all over the world, the agricultural standardization (AS) has been the key factor to restrict the promotion of farm product competitiveness. After our entry into WTO, there is an intense competition in farm market. Enhancing the establishment of AS is a strategic measure not only to promote the AS and meet with the need of markets in our nation and overseas, but also to progress the adjustment of a structure, change the way of agricultural growth and the level of agricultural development. As a super agriculture province, Hebei plays a decisive role on agricultural population and farm output in our nation. Whether we could promote the level of the As quickly as we can or not, which influences directly on the sustainable development of agriculture and rural economy in our province.The thesis is divided into four parts. Firstly, this dissertation has qualitative analysis on the system of the AS, explaining the related concepts, the theoretical significance of carrying out the AS and the progression of the AS in our nation and overseas. Secondly, the author analyses the present situation of establishment of the AS in standard formulation and monitor capability around three dominate industries, pointing out some problems in many aspects the system of the AS, the present structure, propaganda, popularization on the base of the AS practice in Hebei, which brought the function of the AS in Hebei into limited play. Next through summarizing the successful forms, appraise the standardized affect putting Tanghai County as a example, a conclusion has arrived on remarkable economic, technical, social and ecological affects of the AS. At the meanwhile, demonstrating that there is a practical significance in the agriculture and rural economy empirically. At last, in view of the above restricted factors, the dissertation put forward the general thinking and political suggestions to promote the establishment of the AS system in Hebei.
