Study On The Measures Of Promoting Agricultural Standardization In Nantong City

Now days , the development of Chinese agriculture has stepped into a new period. The situation of shortage of agricultural products in the international market was over, and agriculture has been a buyer's market. This is a historical breakthrough , but also a new challenge . On the one hand, the Chinese agriculture is facing new opportunities and new challenges from the fierce-competed international market ,and the development of agriculture was limited by source before, but now it has been transferred to double limitation both by source and market ; on the other hand, the ecological environment of agriculture production has becoming worse because of the usage of too much chemical fertilizer and pesticide, and the quality of agricultural products has become the key factor limiting Chinese agricultural sustainable development. Now if we carry out agricultural standardization, our agricultural products will be much more competitive in the oversea market, and we can also improve the agricultural system , to transform the agricultural scientific technological achievements into the production , to protect the ecological environment, to increase the agricultural efficiency and the farmers' income.Investigation on the current situation of the agricultural development in Nantong City has been used in this dissertation to analyze the actual effect and main obstacles of agricultural standardization in Nantong City during the present stage, and the corresponding measures and suggestions were raised in this paper.A history review on the standard and the definition of standardization were given . The tasks of agricultural standardization and the effects in agriculture production were analyzed, and the former research achievements in this field were summarized . Then the main international agricultural standardization institutes, agricultural standardization development in some western countries were introduced. 4 stages of Chinese agricultural standards such as germinating period, primary and developing ,the new China be established ,high speed in our country's agricultural standardization development were introduced. This chapter also introduced some points for the reference by analyzing the agricultural standardization development abroad.The general situations of agriculture and agricultural standardization development in Nantong city were analyzed in this paper. Based on the investigation on national-levelstandardize demonstration plots of Clam , the actual effect of agricultural standardization were analyzed for Nantong city. And analyzed some kinds of agricultural standardization spreading models and their pros and cons .Analyzed national-level, provincial-level and civic-level standardize demonstration plots set up by Nantong City in these years, and selected some of the models to analyze the effects .Constructions of accelerating the system of agricultural standard , popularizing system, service system monitoring system, agricultural product appraising, are commonly considered as main ideas to develop agricultural standards . From the angle of positivism,the dissertation analyzes the main obstacle factors for Nantong City's agricultural standardization based on the investigations of 700 peasant households,and some suggestions were given to promote the agricultural standardization of Nantong City from 8 aspects. Base on former analyses, 13 measures are put forward to promote the agricultural standardization of Nantong City from the angle of financial support ,organization ensure system ,market regulation and personnel training . It provided a certain theories and practices basis for promoting agricultural standardization of Nantong City . It will increase the quality of agricultural products of Nantong City, and have far-reaching significance on strengthening competitiveness of agricultural products of Nantong City home and abroad.
