Research On The Development And Countermeasure Of 3PL In Our Country

The third-party logistics (3PL) is a new logistical mode which appears with the development of theories and practices, it is the outcome of specialization and socialization of logistics. With the quick development of the economic globalization and the forming of new market, more and more enterprises are declined to use the service of 3PL.After the development of more than ten years, the whole 3PL market of the world have appeared the character of large potential > gradual development and high increasing rate. It is forecasted that 3 PL will be the mainstream of international logistics in the twenty-first century. Therefore, it will have grade meaning to promote the development of 3PL on the base of the reality of 3PL in our country.The thesis regards the development of 3PL in our country as the cardinal line. On the base of expatiating the related concept and the theories, joining together the actual state of the 3PL in our country, it is analyzed the condition in our country with the SWOT method from four aspects of strength, weakness , opportunity, threaten. Finally, the author discusses the countermeasures.There are five chapters in the thesis.Chapter one is the introduction of the thesis. In this chapter, it is mainly introduced the background of the thesis and expatiated the actual state of research in domestic and abroad .In addition, the author points out the meaning of studying the 3PL development in our country. Finally, the train of thought and the structure of the thesis are summarized.It is a general outline of 3PL in chapter two. At first, it is introduced the concept and the character of 3PL. Next the background of 3PL appearing is analyzed, including the background of theories and the realistic condition. The former contain the theory of competitive advantage and the theory of transaction expense; and the later primarily contain the change of the competition environment, the fast evolution of modem information technique, the fierce competition in the logistics realm In the end, the author explains the value of 3PL,which includes promoting the competition ability, decreasing the cost, promoting service quantity, spread the risk and increasing the social performance.It is an analysis on the development of 3PL in our country in chapter three, which has two parts. In the one part, it is introduced the actual state of 3 PL in our country, including the total condition, market structure and the tendency. In the other part ,the author analyzed the condition in our country with the SWOT method from four aspects of strength, weakness , opportunity, threaten. The strength comes from the support of government, native advantage and rear advantage. The weakness includes the obstacle ofsystem, the limitation of transaction cost, the imperfect withdrawing mechanism of self-employment logistics, small size of the logistics enterprises, the lagging idea in industry and commerce enterprises, scarcity and lowly rate of logistical facilities .scarcity of the professional person, dissatisfactory service in the logistical enterprises. Then opportunity includes the fast the economic increase in our country, putting forth the main industry by the enterprises, great potential, the increasing of the demand, the development of the excellent enterprises, development of electronic commerce - the implement of western development and the chance bringing by entry into the WTO. As far as the threaten is concerned, one is the challenge bringing by the abroad capital. At the same time, the domestic logistics enterprises have to face the running of the high-quality client and the talented person.In chapter four, the countermeasures is discussed how to put forth the development of 3PLin our country .Because the development of 3PL is a systemic project, the as long as the government, institute and the enterprises work as a team, the object of stable fast evolution could be attained.
