The Development Present Situation And Countermeasure Research Of Pension Service Industry In Chongqing

The current society is witnessing the deepening degree of aging population and the changes have been taken place in modern family structure. The traditional family pension model is being challenged; Pension issues have gradually become a major problem facing the current society. However, the pension problem is not a simple matter of material support problem in the past, now it has so many aspects including, daily care, health care, mental comfort and other sectors in this regard, which need to establish a comprehensive pension service system to meet various needs of the old. China as a big country with 1.3 billion population, its aging problem is becoming more and more obvious and the degree of aging become more and more serious. Chongqing is located in the southwest hinterland; the level of economic development cannot be considered too high, but the level of aging population ranks first. It is a typical area of the "old before getting rich". In recent years, the energetic efforts made by the Chongqing municipal government, and great success has been achieved in Chongqing pension service industry, but in general, the development process still exists some problems.This paper studies the significance and value of pension services. Firstly, it has to analyze and summarize the research status at home and abroad of pension services, then it has to define the concept of pension, retirement services and pension services, and gives a compressive illustration to the theoretical basis for this article---The Marxism Social Security Theory; Secondly, it begins with the current situation of Chongqing pension service industry through field surveys and interviews and combined with data provided by relevant departments, to point out some problems in Chongqing pension service development; Again, for the reasons that can influence the development of pension service in Chongqing(support policies, pension service system, pension services institutions,the elderly themselves) are going to be fully analyzed; Finally, on the basis of learning some advanced experience from foreign countries, which can provide specific policy recommendations and all of these will be expected to achieve fruitful results for the present and future development of Chongqing pension service industry.
