Logistics has brought about more and more recognitions of the enterprises in the economy society. Application and popularization of logistics gradually brings about an economic innovation. So it's named as "Black Land of Economy", "The Third Profit Resource of Enterprises", "Mobile Electronic Business". But, at present, because of such constraint factors as weak logistics establishment, underdevelopment logistics technologies and shortage of logistics persons with ability, many enterprises have the short-sight and profit-trend ideas, and only attach importance to the application of logistics in the two circulation fields of supply and marketing, but they don't fully understand the internal logistics, particularly production logistics. At the same time, our country is trapped by the traditional planning economy and U.S.S.R production models, and many problems appear in the production tache of the enterprise, and the production process is in chaos, which is concretely showed in the traditional mechanical manufacturing enterprises of small-batch production. Just in these backgrounds, the production process of Shenyang Heavy Machinery Group Co., Ltd is considered as the research object and it's optimized from the point of logistics. Logistics, especially production logistics, of the enterprise is analyzed and optimized from these respects as following: 1. Production process and schedule are analyzed from logistic point and many shortages and the innovative countermeasures are put up with. 2. The ideas of Concurrent Engineering (CE) are applied in the analysis and simulation of production system, with the production of main parts of main products in the second season in 2002 as the research object. 3. The logistics simulation software, Integrated Material Handling System Simulation/Animation i.e. IMHS Sim/Animation, is applied in the simulation and optimization of the models of production logistics. The optimization process is as following: The factual production condition of the second season of the enterprise is simulated. And through the analysis of the simulation results, many shortages and problems are found. Then, according to the factual conditions of theenterprise and the problems, all kinds of innovative schemes are put up with. Finally, every innovative scheme is simulated. On the base of comparative analysis among the different schemes, the best scheme is decided so that the optimization aim is reached. 4. The transiting scheme is deeply discussed after production process optimization with regard to the great assistant production time it wastes and big benefit scope existed In conclusion, me innovative points are outlined, further research orientation is analyzed and the development prospect is expected.
