Cultivating Research On Enterprise's Core Competence

The effect of "Core Competence" has been accepted and implemented at both academic and practical approach, and it is playing more and more important role today. Core competencies are powerful weapon to obtain the victorious. China's entry into WTO, and the economic globalization provide a lot of challenges in economy in China. In this situation, the enterprises of China only cultivate the core competences of themselves, can they grow and become stronger.How to cultivate core competences Through theoretical and case study, this thesis is aiming at methodology at "Core Competence". It starts with discussing the function and use of the enterprise's core competence, and studies such issues as the forming mechanism, discerning, cultivating ways and methods of core competence. On the function of core competence, the thesis makes some analyses on improving competitive position, obtaining excessive profits, winning long-term competitive advantages, and enhancing environment adaptability. On the forming mechanism of core competence, the paper investigates on the enterprise's innovations of technology, organization, value, management, etc. Through qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, this thesis establishes the system of appraising and use the fuzzy appraisal method on enterprise's core competence discerning and appraisal. For the matter of core competence's cultivating, the paper renders a series of measures of founding knowledge alliances, enterprise cultivating, annexing, imitating innovating, etc. With practical cases, the paper summarizes successful experiences and unsuccessful lessons of nurturing core competence from both domestic and abroad, and it makes some analyses on the mistakes of cultivating core competence.These above-mentioned research of this paper may offer some enlightenment for the enterprises' core competence cultivating and competitiveness' improving of our country.
