In this paper, the correlation between business process reengineering (BPR) and core-competence has been studied, and BPR strategy has been ameliorated and innovated through core-competence theory. The valid method has been found to guide BPR practice with core-competence theory applying in a pharmaceutical company, and BPR strategy base on core-competence has been put into practice.Under the background of new economy with the characteristic of network technology and knowledge management, BPR is used not only as a general management method for increasing efficiency and reducing cost, but also to be combined together with competitive strategy. Today, the way, to construct outstanding business process, flat organization and core-competence, is the core component in competitive strategy, and is the key to obtaining the lasting competitive advantage. Therefore, this paper gives prominence to the relationship between BPR and core-competence in lucubrates to BPR. Further, we must innovate in BPR traditional method, and convert it into the important part that realizes the competitive strategy and builds core-competence.Through deep study to the theories of core-competence and BPR strategy, this paper expounds that BPR is a valid strategy tool, which can strengthen core-competence on the strategic orientation. Thinking over the shortage of the traditional BPR method, this paper puts forward to the BPR strategy thoughts base on core-competence, and establishes the frame for analysis of the strategy gathering and the mode for practicing under the thought.In addition, with the object of Hebei Unites Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, with the criterion of making normative management system, perfective organization and agreeable business process etc, with the construction of business core-competence, with the discuss of introducing the thought of BPR for converting the business from traditional organization into process organization, this paper puts forward to the flexible team working mode in order to enhance the flexibility of the organization and to satisfied the request of change management. This will be benefit for the business to create corporate culture, for setting up learning organization, and for changing the view to talented person and the method of training. According to the BPR project for HUP, the paper expounds the case and the method that how to practice, so that gives a help for the business development in our country. |
