According the Vendor managed Inventory (VMI) theory, from the angle of managerial operational research, this thesis will solve the problem that will be faced during the operation of logistics management: How to establish a reasonable plan of Inventory supplement and vehicle routing. This thesis can provide a good chance to overcome the inventory and transportation contradiction that puzzling supporter and demander, and make it possible to reduce the logistics operation cost.In the first, this thesis concludes the theory of Inventory Routing problem (IRP), analyzes the researching situation of Inventory Routing problem (IRP), and establishes the Inventory Routing problem (IRP) model. In the second, from the angel of long run optimizing, inducting the clients grouping means and vehicle routing problem with time windows (VRPTW), this thesis establishes the inventory management mode! and the vehicle routing model separately. With these means mentioned this thesis establishes the model of Inventory Routing problem (IRP). In the forth part, with inducting the Genetic Algorithms (GA), this thesis analyzes the solvent of IRP model, and regulates the genetic operators, fitness function limits and every steps of solvent. At last, thesis makes up a logistics example to inspect the model created before and correction of the solvent.
