Only in this way can the building up of national defence adapt to the new RAM and gives guarantee to the building a well-off society in an all-round way. And also only in this way can the coastal building adapt to the sharp competition of the economy globalism and realize the cut-across type development. All of these demand us study the primary condition and development trend of the building up of national defence & the construction of economy in coastal and push both of them to develop harmoniously.Guiding at the state-strategy, using the method of philosophical and systemic thought, the thesis deeply discusses the relation between the building up of national defence and the construction of economy in the coastal.
