An Comparison Study On Enterprise Culture Based On The Competing Value Model

More and more significance has been attached to the contribution of enterprise culture, and the enterprises in china are facing much drastic challenge after entering twenty-one century. With the reformation of market economy and joining to the WTO, domestic firms will face relentless competition, competition include product quality, brand, price, marketing strategies service after sales, service trading dominated by selling foreign commodities and the ideas about enterprise management and operation model, in the final, all of these are the competition in the enterprise culture with different features.According to the competing value model of Quinn and by the Expert Evaluation Approach, our research evaluates about the public enterprise culture, further, we do hypothesis tests about the opinion difference on the enterprise culture between the high-technology firms and the traditional firms, and that between the firms in heavy industry and those in the light industry, we give some thinkable explain about these difference.By contrastive analysis, we can conclude that there is much improvement in innovation among traditional firms and high-technology firms strongly pay close attention to the inner environment. There is minor difference on innovation between the firms in heavy industry and those in light industry, however, the former pay more attention to inner environment than the latter.Following our results, we make some valuable suggestions. Connotation of enterprise culture should be profoundly recognized, environment befitting firms' operation, development strategies and enterprise culture acceptable by majority persons should be established, individualized enterprise culture should be shaped, characters of entrepreneur should be improved, entrepreneur systems should be built up and unimpaired, we should inherit and carry forward our excellent traditional culture, and deeply appreciate the evolvement of enterprise culture.
