A Study Of Women's Development Problem During The Period Of The New Kuangsi Clique In Guangxi

The women's development problem has been a new topic outstanding day by day in the middle of the 1990s. Since the relevant theory has just constructed, we can say that the women's development problem is the virgin land urgently waiting to be cultivated in Chinese women study at present. The women's development level is the important index of the social development and the yardstick of weighing the degree of social progress too. Therefore, the research of this subject has important meanings.This text regards Marx's dialectical materialism and historical materialism as the foundation, I tried to use multi-disciplinary theories to analyze the question and adopted the social development theory in recent years to prove concretely women's development levels during a certain historical period. On the research approach, I tried hard to carry on vertical-horizontal research in tactics of using measurement and comparison etc. Set the women in Guangxi on the national ranges to observe the uniqueness of women and compare vertically of different fields with women in Guangxi before the New Kuangsi Clique to show its own dynamic development during the period of the New Kuangsi Clique in Guangxi.Women's development is an important component in the social development. Under the certain socially historical condition and in a certain period, it is a colony of intergrowth phenomenon by multiple key elements, plural subsystem and great social system interaction. The development of different key elements of the women's index shows the social fact on women progress through two heavy cognitive systems: individual life field and colony life field. Being common to act on the key element of the women's development and the social development, it can unify the development goal of women and society. As a kind of dynamic system, the goal system of women's development is acting on the social development system constantly, which favorable to women's development further under two-way of interdynamic in people and social development. Though had not the people in period of the New Kuangsi Clique proposed the view of women's development clearly, we can still use and set up the index system of the state of women's development to analyze and appraise the women in history on the basis of outlook of the social development, because every index key element of the women development has changed with changes of the society in the social course from tradition to the modern transition. Therefore my works selected four indexes of appraising women's development to study the women's development of the period of the New Kuangsi Clique. Among them, education is the key factor to influence the role of women, women's development, women family and social status.With the constraint from traditional idea deeply, women in the traditional society in Guangxi had been deprived the right of receiving an education, marrying the partner of one's own choice. Because of special environment of Guangxi, women were engaged in various kinds of strenuous working, but they cannot enjoy the corresponding right in political and social life. The various kinds of women's development contradiction in traditional society and various kinds of conflict of social development on modern society had put forward the powerful challenge to the government of the New Kuangsi Clique. Because the leaders of the New Kuangsi Clique had more enlightened understanding to the women's development problem, the government of the New Kuangsi Clique had adapted to the development of the situation and then implemented various kinds of women policies to offer a more favorable opportunity for women's development. So the women's development of the period of the New Kuangsi Clique were made an outstanding achievement to education, raised the marriage quality obviously, expanded the employment level and range much and strengthened the ability to participating in government and political affairs day by day.
