The Primary Research On The Leadership Of Primary Level Cadre

This study concerned with the leadership which is important for primary level cadre's success. This research aims to determine the structure features of primary level cadre's conception on leadership that result in high performance. Base at the leadership structure, this research also compare the difference when the different cadres rate these leadership dimensions. The study was made up of two stages. The first stage was a interview research to analyze the leadership dimensions in working context which bring to primary level cadre's success. In second stage, 192 primary level cadres from different units were surveyed through questionnaire. The results indicated that primary level cadre's leadership consisted of five dimensions. The five dimensions are analyse and decision- making, transform, judgement, communicating and expressing, employee-choosing. This research confirmed that there are multiple leadership dimensions contributing to primary level cadre's performance. The results also indicate that primary level cadres with different level have the same attitude toward these five dimensions of leadership. These five dimensions of primary level cadre's leadership can be applied in the opening selection of the leader cadre.
