Under the pushes of the economic system reform and market economy tide, it's an important job of developing high & new technology industry of the university in the primary stage of socialism. Because of lack of educational funds, we need the support of high & new technology enterprises of the university to develop education. The trend of developing enterprises run by school is the inevitable choice of universities adapted to social economic development.The high & new technology enterprises of the university are the various economic units invested entirely or partly, managed mainly by the universities. It's the extension and development of the scientific and technical research. It's not only the important support to the universities but also the window that universities offer technique, promote the combination of education and economy, bind and serve society.Firstly, this paper analyzes the strategic management theory and sustainable development of high & new technology enterprises systematically, study the current situation and existed questions, propose the idea of stock-ownership management and offer relative policies based on the analysis of connotation, characteristics and necessary conditions of sustainable development to high & new technology enterprises of universities in order to support the universities to operate the high & new technology enterprises effectively. At the same time this paper also study on the ways to build the core competence and design the model of sustainable development on high & new technology enterprises of universities. Finally, on the basis of the previous analysis, we put forward suggestions and propose some relevant measures for the high & new technology enterprises of universities.
