Agricultural Protective Trade Policy Of Developed Countries And Enlightenment To Our Country

After China's access to WTO, the agriculture is standing the severechallenge.This will exert a great pressure on agriculture and farmer andfood security in our country. The problem of agriculture and farm isserious, which has already caused great attentions of Party andgovernment.Central File No. 1 issued in 2004 studies the question ofenriching farmers. The problem of food security is very important in ourcountry. The rise in price of grain that began in the second half 2003indicates that we must pay attention to the problem of food security dueto the entry to WTO . According to the present level of the economy, ourcountry has the ability to protect agriculture. So it is significant to studyhow to enrich farmers,guarantee food security, protect and supportagriculture of our country . The developed country began to implement the agriculturalprotective policy many years ago and has formed the overall protectivepolicy. It is necessary for us to draw lessons from the developed countryto set up our own agricultural protective policy which suit to our nationalconditions. This paper makes a research into it and summarize the basiccontent of it,analyse the economic reason, political reason and theoreticalreason why the developed country implement it , probe into theinfluences of it .According to the former research,I put forward somepolicies in supporting export, protecting import ,domestic support .
