Every field in the social economic life has changed completely as China is changing from the planned economy into the market economy. Many traditional regulations had to been adjusted because they did not cater to the needs of the new economic circumstances. So did the distribution system. The existing distribution system gradually exposes its backwardness and shortcomings as the status of labor capital become more and more important, and the new managerial revolution which is caused by human resource management is coming. People continually expound and draw on the experiences of foreign countries in this regard. In recent years, the salary system in enterprises has changed much. How to use salary system to attract and keep the talent is becoming more and more important.This thesis takes the salesmen in Dongji Group as the subject to design the salary system, which aims at applying the theory to the practice on the basis of the statement of the theory of salary management. It also can be used for reference by other enterprises on both salary system design and salary system reform.The thesis first discusses the salary study in the social background, the social meaning, and the importance to employees. Secondly, it reviews the historical development process of salary theory and the main viewpoints in different phases. In this part, it also introduces the latest achievement and the development trend. Then, it analyzes the current situation of Dongji Group in some aspects, such as the industrial background, the current salary system, the structure of sales department. Finally, it redesigns the salary system for the sales department in the light of specific conditions of Dongji Group.The thesis combines theory and practice. And can be used for reference by other enterprises.
