The Study On The Integrated Management Information System And Its Application On A JiLin Chemical Plant

With the coming of the information society and the emergence of global economy unification, more and more Chinese enterprises are seeking for the Management Information System that can meet their needs. Developed country has gone ahead on building enterprise information system and the related technique has been introduced to China step by step. However, the high cost and the difference on the domestic and foreign company s running mechanism limited the development of domestic information system.To let the Chinese enterprises go into information era and then step to electronic commerce as well as virtual enterprises, the prevalent technique of network and database is used and a whole solution is presented including Office Automation, Intranet to Internet for domestic enterprises. The solution was verified on a typical Chinese petrochemical plant- JiLin Chemical Industry Corporation. Some useful suggestions on system design, system development and system test for the domestic enterprise is also presented and discussed here.
