During recent years , as the economic is developing so fast and the city construction is raising stably .Shanghai has become an international city. For the city developing needs ,and to figure out the way for existence and developing ,the various walks of life has to be getting adjustment . Shanghai animal industry also needs to get adjustment .After joining WTO and working out "the Shanghai 15years development plan for aquaculture", Shanghai animal industry is facing the challenge severely . First is the challenge for joining WTO .According to the agreement of agriculture , China has to reduce the customs duty and increase input quota for agricultural products after joining WTO .No matter how weather situation is, China has to input large quantities agricultural products from international market every year .Second challenge is how to carry out "The Shanghai 15 years development plan for aquaculture" and adjust the distribution .One is to adjust distribution structure Two is to adjust variety structure Third is to adjust animal products quantity Facing the challenges ,and how to develop Shanghai animal industry .this article try to resolve these issues.According to Shanghai developing needs and facing to the two big challenges, this article raise the demonstration that how to develop city animal industry in Shanghai .
