Investigation And Countermeasure On Current Situation And Pattern Of Aquiculture In Xuzhou

The dissertation is composed of two parts. The first part introduces the current situation of both domestic and foreign fishery, especially that of Jiangsu province, and points out the main problem and the development trend of the fishery. The second part finds out the main problem of the city's aquiculture on the basis of characteristic analysis of Xuzhou's fishery resources and the current situation of its aquiculture, and brings forward some personal views and countermeasures in allusion to these problems.Not only the world fishery, but also the fishery of domestic areas including Jiangsu, developed quickly in the last century. It has shown mainly on the rapid increase of both the scale and output of the aquiculture, the specialty of aquiculture, the diversity of aquiculture pattern and the activity of aquatic product trade. However, there still exist some problems, such as the irrational structure of aquiculture, the polluted surroundings, the exhaustion of natural resources and the poor quality of aquatic product, which will be the main problems for both domestic and foreign fishery departments.The fishery resource in Xuzhou is abundant. Its water area is about 330,000 acres. Among them, there are Luoma lake, Huangdun lake, Xuzhou segment of Jinghang canal, Pihong river and other rivers, and some medium-and-small-sized reservoirs, channels, mires, the dents of coal mines, and low-lying terra along lakes. Fishery aquiculture developed rapidly in recent years, both the scale and output increased quickly, and also the proportion of the specialty of aquiculture arose. It has become one of the most important and vigorous industries in the city's agricultural economy development. According to statistics its area of the fishery aquiculture is 156,670 acres, among which 71,660 acres are paddy fields and the area of the established fishery is 568 acres. The general aquatic product is 143,300 ton, with the annual increase of 9.35%. The area of the special aquiculture is 90,410 acres, and the area of the no-pollution aquiculture is 18,120 acres. Our paddy field aquiculture is in the front of the national aquiculture. Now there are three provincial demonstration cities in Xuzhou: Pizhou, Xinyi, and Pei Xian. According to the regional distribution, the paddy field aquiculture is mainly in Pizhou and Xinyi, and shrimp and crab are their priority; some little-water regions are fit for developing special fish home breed, such as Feng Xian, Pei Xian, Jia Wang, etc.; still other regions along cities candevelop the established fishery and the city lie fallow fishery.Problems emerge when the aquiculture is developing fast in the city: the imbalance of the development between the east and the west, the nonstandard construction of the bases and the faultiness of the management organs and so on. These problems have held back the fast development of the fishery in the city to some extent. On the basis of the above facts, this dissertation puts forward a five-year development programme of Xuzhou fishery. The programme is to quicken the development of paddy field aquiculture, special fishery and established fishery through optimizing aquiculture configuration and innovatory technology, and developing important corporations and so on. Also, emphasis will be laid on river crab, shrimp, soft-shelled turtle, loach, snakehead, goldfish and so on and continue to enlarge the construction scale of innocuity base and improve the quality of the aquatic product. Thus to accelerate the transformation from "large-scale fishery" to "high-efficient fishery".
