After China entered WTO, With the daily speed up of reorganization process for Chinese communication business, the appearance of several communication business venders gradually forms the situation of intensive competition. Old communication business venders are now facing the challenge from new comers, and also facing the adjustment of company structure, management theories, concepts and style, and the renewal requirement for the way of consideration. Mean while, the new communication business venders are now facing the obstruction formed by the old venders' great market dimensions, good brand image and strong financial scale. They also need to solve the difficulties of market development and self-strengthen under this obstruction and the imperfection of government professional supervision system.Sichuan Communication Co.Ltd. is a brand new communication business vender established by CNC(China Network Communication Group Corporation)in Sichuan province. Confronted by the strong competitors as China Telecommunication(CTC), China Mobil(CMC) and China Unicom(CUC), How to make the accurate strategy for company develop and competition is the most essential task, and the key point for the company development. To solve this problem, this thesis made a general development strategy and basic compete strategy on the basis of the analysis to the company internal and external environment.Firstly, this thesis briefly introduces the establishment process and the background of Sichuan Communication Co, Ltd., Secondly, a general analysis of the company internal and external situation by combines the situation of Sichuan Communication business and the reality of the company with the theories of PEST analysis, core competition ability analysis, value chain analysis, essential element for success analysis, etc. This conclusion indicated the company's opportunities and threatens, advantages and disadvantages. At last, on the basis of above conclusion, this thesis confirms the company's general develop strategy and basic compete strategy by using the SWOT analysis theoriesThis thesis solves the problems of using which develop strategy under the complex, intense compete environment, to extend the company's advantage, to effectively use the aid of the outside element, to rapidly develop market, to finally fulfill the company general development strategic target.The thesis raises the special opinion that Sichuan CNC and the Sichuan CTC are main competitors, but while relate to the substitute for Mobil business, strategic co-operators as well. This opinion was seldom paid enough attention to by the business vendors. In point of the present lack of core competition ability and its importance, the thesis proceed special research and raised applicable measurement on cultivation of the company core competition ability. Finally, the comparison of the thesis conclusion and the company strategy in application proves that this conclusion is accord with the company strategy.
