| How to obtain sustainable competitive advantage for an enterprise is always a subject being explored and practiced by the academy and entrepreneur. The concept of core competence proposed by Gary Hamel and C.K. Prahalad sure give us a bran-new reasonable explanation to it. This theory has urgent and practical significance for Chinese enterprises to improve competence and face international challenge after China's entry to WTO.However, the theory is not systematic itself, especially lack of guidance to practice in the application. For this case,I hope this thesis can be valuable to the application theory for the core competence ,and can give a guidance to the management practise for the mould enterpirse.Firstly,expand the intent and meanings of this thesis,then explain the study actuality for the related field ,and explain the study content for the thesis.Secondly,to systemly analyse the related theory of the core competence.The core competence is the accumulated knowledge in the organization,especially is the knowledge how to correspond the different produce skill and to combine the many kinds of technology genre. It has the characteristic such as especially,valuable for customer,extendable to other business. So,if the corporate has the core competence,the corporate can keep competence advantage in long time, and it is the ensurance to keep the corporate meridian.Thirdly, to analyse the actuality and the characteristic for our country mould trade,and then analyse the the mould technology development trend in the worldwide.Through the value chain analysing,to confirm what is the core competence for the POSSEHL Mould Co.Ltd.After these,to analyse the main influenced component factors of the core competence for Possehl Mould Co.Ltd..At last, according to the company actuality, to bring forward many methods to upgrade the core competence of the Possehl Mould Co.Ltd., and to give some detail guide methods to establish the competence advantage for the Possehl Mould Co.Ltd..
