Influence Factors And Countermeasures Of The Enterprise Core Competencies

Since 1990s , with the development of information technology and coming of knowledge economy , enterprises will directly face keener global market competition . Simple strategy of product and market have become short-term behavior.The realistic shortening of enterprises' life-span and the wave of returning the main business make the enterprises pay more attention to the relation between their internal capacities and the competitive advantage .The theory of the core competence of the corporation justly meets this realistic needs and become a focus of the research economics and management.The paper traces back the historical origins of the theory of the core competence of the corporation, analyzes the present situation and existing problems of the research.The paper points out that ,up till now , the theory of the core competence of the corporation only is composed of some pure concepts and simply logic analysis , and greatly not construct a thorough and scientific theory system . Because of that, the research of this paper lays more stress on the following questions: the first is the concept of the core competence of the corporation; the second is to define the factors of influencing the core competence of the corporation; the third is to analyze the implication of these factors including the resources, technology, organization, culture ,study and creative factor ,and their functions to the core competence of the corporation; the forth is to put forward some counter measures by which builds up and maintains the core competence of the corporation and create the competitive advantage.The research indicates that the above-mentioned internal factors of the corporation have the important effects for building up and maintaining of the core competence of the corporation which is the result of commonly taking effect of above-mentioned six kind of factors. The core competence of the corporation is theinternal cause that builds up and maintains the competitive advantage of the corporation, is also the main cause.The innovations of this thesis include the new definition of the core competence of the corporation and the interpretation on the logical relation between the core competence of the corporation and the competitive advantage of the corporation. The paper also puts forward a series of the countermeasures and maintains the core competence of the corporation.
