With the advent of knowledge economy, high-tech enterprises have become the new economic force of the 21-century and the important engine for economic development. Under the premise of knowledge economy, the environment on which enterprises and organizations rely for survival and development has greatly changed. These changes make new requirements for the adaptabilities of enterprises, especially for those of high-tech enterprises. Therefore, high-tech enterprises should have learning capabilities. So, this article chooses organizational learning as the main topic arid conducts the theoretical and empirical study in high-tech industry. This article has five parts:Chapter one mainly introduces the research environment and research object as well as its characteristics, elucidates the research foundation, and expresses the main research topics of organizational theory. Last, this chapter discusses the main research problem, research thought and adapted research methods. Chapter two introduces the organizational learning theory into high-tech enterprises, and probes into the external environmental factors, internal propelling forces and influence factors. Chapter three discusses organizational learning capabilities and the relationship between these capabilities and enterprises operation performance. Chapter four designs the empirical study from the perspective of sample selection, and questionnaire, and uses the principal component analysis (PCA) to study the relationship between organizational learning and operation performance. The empirical study makes it clear that there is a positive relationship between organizational learnig capabilities and operation performance, and that the unbalanced organizational learning system will negative influence the operation performance. Based on the above theoretical and empirical study, chapter five brings forward several suggestions on how to increase the learning capability of high-tech enterprise, such as enforcing knowledge management, etc.Lastly, this article sums the main research conclusions, innovative points and the limitations as well as the directions for further study.
