Electric Power Industry is one of the fundamental industries of our country. However, compared to national economy, it is lagging behind. Since the government increases investment in this field and carries through a national wide strypped-down, rapid growth of the whole electric power industry provides more space for Electric power companies to develop themselves. At the same time, problems appear: how to enhance service, reduce administration cost and production cost in order to react to the market? Aiming at acting as a reference to Electric power industry, this article brings forward a plan to solve the above-mentioned questions through a series research of the process that Si Chuan Electric Power Corporation took to re-engineer and recombination.Here is the structure of this article: First, inner and outer environment analysis and strategy orientation of Si Chuan Electric Power Corporation, a brief introduction of re-engineering principle; Second, Analysis and evaluation of the main operation coordination of Si Chuan Electric Power; Third, re-engineering of Electric power material and fuel-running process; Fourth, re-engineering of administration coordination; Fifth, re-engineering of permanent assets coordination; Sixth,ending-some hints in re-engineering Si Chuan Electric Power Corporation.Using SWOT and Port's competition theory, based on the current conditionand future trend of Electric Power industry and the practice after the Electric reformation inside our company, this article analyses Si Chuan Electric Power Corporation from its inner& outer environment, operation process, and businesseffects in details, and puts forward stratagem and tactics to upgrade herself for future competition. In allusion to the result and tactics to be taken, this article points out the importance of re-engineering; also make an introduction of re-engineering theory's origin, ways to act this theory and some experiences. Therefore a description of how to carry out re-engineering in Si chuan Electric Power Corporation is made.In the last part of this article, using balance scorecard as evaluating facility, I made evaluation and diagnosis to all the important tache inner the Si Chuan Electric power Corporation, pointing out some problems and things need to improve. According to those problems I found, and also to the poor administration, which is a common shortcoming of all enterprises in China, I choose a re-engineering mode, which is easier to operate in our current condition and more likely to see the result, and forward a plan to re-engineer.Through above discussion, the article made diagnosis, analysis and re-engineering of all key points in Si Chuan Electric Power Corporation based on her aim-increase income, reduce cost, enhance service. And facts proves: re-engineering is an effective way in the premise of not increasing cost at the same time enhancing service, increasing income and lowering costs.
