The Research On Project Management Applied In Technology Import Of Chemical Enterprises

At present, competition of synthetic national power has become the focuses of competition of all countries. Science and technology plays a key role of synthetic national power, but compared with developed country certain disparity still exists in the engineering level of our country. The technology import is that enterprises improve the engineering level, dwindle with the disparity important means of the developed country. So, the study and discussion of this field, especially of chemical industry, have very important practical significance. This thesis aims at proving the method to meet the objective of technology import of chemical industry within the prescribed time, budget limitations and quality expectations is to use the approach of project management. And by this way, the technology can lay a foundation for the enterprises to absorb, assimilate and innovate new technology. First of all, with the aid of the statistic data, the thesis points out that the technology import is an important way to promote enterprise's competition advantage, it is a kind of inexorable trend too. But state-owned medium and small-scale chemical enterprises of our country have some outstanding problems in the course of their technology import at present. By analyzing two typical cases, the thesis puts forward the view of this thesis: project management is key idea and scientific method for the enterprises to implement technology import successfully. Secondly, based on the common characteristics and life cycle of project and technology import, the thesis proposes that it is feasible to apply project management to technology import of chemical industry. According to this, the thesis set up an elementary model of life cycle for the project management of technology import of chemical industry. At the same time, through analyzing advantages of project management, the thesis points out that those advantages is just the scientific method to solve the outstanding problems existing in technology import of chemical industry. Moreover, the thesis sets up new workflows for technology import of chemical industry, and introduces sequentially project management tools and methods on how to implement the tasks of each stage of life cycle. Also the thesis carries on a successful case that applied project management to its technology import for supporting the view of this thesis. Finally, the thesis proposes the importance of post-management of technology import of chemical industry. After extending the elementary model of technology import life cycle that has been set up of this thesis, the thesis obtains a new model of life cycle which is more suitable the competitive environment in the future, and according to this new model proposes the outline suggestion for post-management of technology import of chemical industry.
