A Study On Establishment Of The Urban Agglomeration Of Middle Jilin Province

Under the background of globalization and informatization,because of the competitionand efficiency,the key belt status of all the countries and regions forming on themacro-scale and medium-scale is becoming more and more prominent.In China expect thatZhujiang Delta,Changjiang Delta and Huanbohai Region are getting stronger everyprovince is establishing and promoting the convergency and development of internal keyregions in order to become a carrier to be used to enlarge the strength and compete withother provinces.Though the Jilin Province urbanization development was early anddeveloped more quickly than other regions in China,the infrastructure and modern level aremore laggard compared with provinces that have the alike income level with JilinProvince.Except the metropolises of the middle region the other cities especially for smallcities and towns lack the economic convergency and radiation force obviously.Theurbanization showed the extensive character . Facing the more and more billowyurbanization of the world I think it is very necessary to expedite the establishment of theUrban Agglomeration of Middle Jilin Province.Theory and practice research showed thatUrban Agglomeration is an kind of region organization with high efficiency andecologization that will be able to bring large improvement of agglomeration economy,market extension,innovation ability and eco-harmony conditions.That is to say that it ispracticable to establish the Urban Agglomeration of Middle Jilin Province to conform so asto the development trend and face new region competition. Using theories and methods of Economic Geography,Urban Geography,RegionEconomics and Sociology and so on,from the point of the concept,the connotation,thedevelopment conditions,the history evolvement ,the limitation standard,the function andthe theory basis and significance of Urban Agglomeration development .The thesis analyzedthe status and role of Jilin Province and the middle part of it under the macro-background ofNortheast China and the whole China but also studied the region relationship on the east,middle,west regions of Jilin Province the middle region and the internal key region of JilinProvince as well.Then the thesis pointed out the middle part of Jilin Province is theeconomic uplift and the core of Jilin Province economy development.Based on this thecurrent conditions of Jilin Province middle region was described then the thesis analyzedfurther Jilin Province east,middle,west region and middle region compared with domesticand foreign Urban Agglomerations and liminated Jilin Province Middle UrbanAgglomeration after the comprehensive analysis,then analyzed and proved the feasibilityand possibility,in the end the conclusion that establishing Jilin Province Middle UrbanAgglomeration is an kind of inevitable trend was obtained.In the last part of the thesis,a fewpersonal viewpoints were put forward on the possible problems and proposals during thecourse of establishing the Urban Agglomeration of Middle Jilin Province.
