At last we can realize that visiting of information is efficient, isomerous and transparent.2. Studies the framework of metadata in information grid. Metadata is called "Structured data about data", we can realize isomerous and transparent visiting of information by metadata. The framework of metadata is the engineering that is done in the process of turning into metadata. According to the hierarchy model of metadata, the paper concretely expatiates on the content and structure of the metadata of information in information grid and puts up the generic way of turning into metadata.3. In order to promulgate, save, search and pitch the metadata of information resource in the information grid, the paper studies how to join the metadata technic and directory services to offer directory services of metadata. Through a plenty of research works, the paper ameliorates the process of its circulation and expatiates its main function.The paper studies the application of the thesis finally.
