Research On The Basic Theory And Function Mechanism Of Suburbanization

With the rapid development of urban economy and urbanization, suburbanization came into being in some big cities of China in the mid-or late 1980s of the 20th century, under the background of gathering development of city. The emergence of suburbanization is inevitable, along with the economy developing and populations congregating in metropolis, suburbanization has enormous demand, motive force and market potential. At present, our country is at initial stage of suburbanization, how to adapt to the demand of urban development, how to enhance the theory supporting and studying with practice of suburbanization, how to exploit the suburbanization mode suitable for national conditions of our country have arose extensive attention. This thesis focuses on the basic theory and function mechanism of suburbanization. It carries the research on the relationships between suburbanization and urbanization, industrialization and sustainable development of the city, and the time-sequence course of suburbanization. On this basis, it puts forward the synchronous mode for our country's suburbanization, which is to apply market mechanism sufficiently, to adopt positive public policies, to lead and encourage the rational disposition in the suburb of the tertiary industry, and then the index system for monitoring the process of suburbanization has been set up. Finally it takes the city of Nanjing as an example, through the analysis of mechanism and existent problems of suburbanization in Nanjng, it brings forward advices about how to regulation and control the process of suburbanization for Nanjing.
