Coal resources have always been one of the most dependent mineral resources in our country. In 2015,China’s coal consumption accounted for 64%in the total energy consumption. The earth’s surface structure will be destroyed with long time and large-scale underground coal mining’ s exploitation, the coal mining subsidence area will come into being at the same time.Huai Nan city has to face with the social problem as a typical coal-dependent city. The construction of the immigrant community in the subsidence area is one of the problems derived from the coal mining subsidence area. The immigrant group plays an important role in the community’s construction and development,so it’s very useful for the stability and harmonious of the community and society to know the resettlement’s status.Based on the investigation of the resettlement community in a coal mining subsidence area in Huai Nan,I mainly analyze the cultural trait of the immigrant community and the socialization status of the resettlement group after the subsidence of the hometown.According to the investigation, the local residents are more satisfied with the housing, transportation, education, medical care, living environment after they moved to the new community. But they think that it’s more difficult to farm and the living costs are higher than before, they are not satisfied with these two points. On the other hand, the analysis shows that in children and adolescents, young children don’t care too much about their hometown’s subsidence, and more adapted to the new living environment. For the youth, they are still in the adolescence which is a very special socialized period. In face of the suddenly changes of life and learning environment,it’s very easy to make them couldn’t see their status and roles clearly, result in the becoming of a self-identity crisis psychology. In face of the reality of arable lands’loss,middle-aged labor groups are trying their best to complete their developmental socialization. They acquire new skills constantly and seek new works to adapt to the new environment and roles’ transformation. At the same time, the group also bring some characteristics of the traditional agricultural society to the new immigrant community. These characteristics are helpful to them to face the living environment’s change jointly and strengthen the community attachment,on the other hand,it seems that these are not suitable to the new community’s construction. The sinking land makes the elderly groups in the coal-mining subsidence area have to move into the new community with the lingering native complex. They are also trying their best to adapt to the new living environment and shaping their new social roles to get other social members’ recognition and affirmation again.Mining subsidence caused resettlement is the result of collision and impact of two kinds of mode of life, the mutual adaptation between immigrant groups and the new community is a gradual process. The objective that we take some current policies, measures and means is to let the situation to reach an optimal state, then it can provides a good premise and guarantee for the coal-mining subsidence area immigrant groups to adapt to the new the living environment better. In order to realize the full-fledged developmental relocation in the coal-mining subsidence area, immigrants need to recognize themselves’ new position and transformation of their social roles. To complete the process of socialization well.At the same time, they ought to cooperate with the government, enterprises, community and some other auxiliary policy. Then it can provide new impetus to construct the new community and realize the developmental construction of the immigrant community in coal-mining subsidence area.
