Study On Social Adaptation Of Migrants In Mining Subsidence Area

"Coal mining subsidence area relocation" is a grand project attracting worldwide attention,especially in Shanxi Province,which is a big coal province.Due to the wide area of subsidence caused by coal mining,the affected area is Large,and the affected population is Large,it has become the focus of the national coal mining subsidence area relocation province.However,it is extremely difficult and complicated to relocate and resettle the immigrants in the subsidence area: how to choose new sites for immigrants,how to build new communities for immigrants after relocation,and whether the Living,working and Learning environment for immigrants after relocation are all problems that need the government to pay close attention to and think seriously during the relocation process.This paper takes the immigrants of village and L village in xiaoyi city as the research object,conducts an investigation through the combination of questionnaire distribution and household interview,and focuses on the analysis and research of the problems immigrants face in the process of social adaptation.Firstly,this paper analyzes the social adaptation of immigrants from three perspectives: Life adaptation,psychological adaptation and social relationship adaptation.Secondly,statistical methods were used to calculate the results of the questionnaire.At Last,the interview data and field observations were combined to analyze and summarize the results.Among them,the Life adjustment of immigrants: the reemployment rate of immigrants decreases,and some people are highly dependent on government subsidies;most of the immigrants reported that the cost of Living increased significantly after relocation;the employment problem of immigrants with special age groups urgently needs to be solved.In terms of immigrants' psychological adaptation,some immigrants miss the Life before relocation very much,and the older they are,the more they miss the Life before relocation.due to the restrictions of practical factors,the willingness of immigrants to move back is very Low;relatively positive attitude towards Life after relocation.In the aspect of social relationship adaptation: the social group remained unchanged before and after the relocation,so the relations between neighbors and relatives were not alienated;the masses have low willingness to participate in the collective activities of new community organizations;after the relocation,the social circle of some immigrants remains unchanged or even shrinks,and their enthusiasm for communicating with local people is Low.In view of the above problems,some Suggestions are put forward to help immigrants to improve their social adaptability : to increase income level and reduce expenditure level,so as to promote Life adjustment;enrich collective activities of the masses and organize psychological surveys to meet the spiritual needs of immigrants and improve their mentality of Life,so as to promote psychological adaptation;consolidate old social circle and establish new social circle to promote social relationship adaptation.In the end,the paper reviews the whole research process,points out the deficiencies and further research direction.
