A Study On The Private Entrepreneur's Deviance In Political Participation

Since the beginning of reform and opening up, private entrepreneurs rise up rapidly as China's private economy grows fast.These entrepreneurs have been increasing their awareness of political participation with their economic power strengthening. But some private entrepreneurs plunge back into the politics perniciously by taking the advantage of their money power and institution flaw in our country's economic transformation. By doing these, they pave the way for their operating and taking big profit into their own pocket. This kind of behavior of involving into politics seriously damaged the nation's economy, endangering people's life, causing adverse social impacts. Of course, as a social phenomenon, there must be the objective and subjective reasons. This paper proposes countermeasures for the Private Entrepreneur's Deviance in Political Participation on the base of researching the"deviant behavior's"reason, form, effect.This paper divides into six parts.The first part is the introduction. This part details the current research on the topic of private owner's political participation. And point out the background and innovation in this field.The second part discusses the relevant concepts on this topic. This part focus on what is political participation and deviance. And then raise the research angle.The third part lists the form of the private entrepreneur's deviant behavior in political participation. These behaviors include underworld organization, bribes to officials, seeking backups or delegates within government. Avoiding the regulations with the help of these officials.The forth part presents the negative effects to our society brings by this private entrepreneur's deviant behavior in the political participation. These influence covers affecting our country's economic development, damaging the environment of fair competition, impeding the construction of democratic politics. These behavior explains why private entrepreneurs unnormal behavior should be prevented actively.The fifth part analyses and demonstrates the reason of these deviant behavior. These analysis is mainly from the private entrepreneurs themselves, the distribution of resources, institution reformation, legal and regulations. This part illustrates why the private entrepreneurs take these actions.The sixth part raises the countermeasures based on the ahead analysis and explanations. These include perfecting the political participation channel, transforming the functions of government, increasing the legal penalties and using community supervision, and so on.
