Tibet is an inalienable Part of China,since the Dalaie Clique fled to India, the Group has been engaged in a variety of separatist activities which are designed to achieve the goal of "Tibet independence". So they become a threat to China's diplomatic relations, military safety, national unity and reunification. India is a potential regional power which has nuclear weapons, it has discordant and uncertain factors with China in Tibet, border issues, resource issues, and international strategy. This has also maked the Indian government and the Dalai clique which have room for mutual advantage in a way. But at the same time, the Indian government had to take into account China's bottom line as well as the need for good relations with China. Therefore, the results of the history is that the policy and attitude of the Indian Government on the Dalai clique is always changed as the other environmental factors change. The Indian government's latest trend is expressed by instigating the dalai lama visiting dawang and the problem of successor elections.This article is trying to descripe the brief history of Tibet issue and the British Indian government policy on Tibet, When we has known the context, then use the methods of taking examples and comparative analysis to analysis India's policy and attitude towards the Dalai Clique and the reasons of change at various times since independence. Finally Combined with China's national conditions and the current international situation, put forward some superficial opinions and recommendations.
