In modern times, people more and more pay attention to the governments'central status in the national economic and social development. The management level of government determines the effectiveness of the social, political and the other affairs. Civil servants are the personality embodiment of government. Performance appraisal of civil servants is the vital contents of civil servant management. Civil servant appraisal carrying out effectively, can promote civil servants quality and the whole government work efficiency.This paper analyzes civil servant appraisal in Hubei Province from empirical aspect.
