| In the continuous improvement of material living conditions are today, how to guide people to the pursuit of a higher spiritual life, is a very important task to building a harmonious society in the new period. To this end, China's Fourth Plenary Session of the Communist Party of the seventeenth clearly pointed out that:"Taking building a Marxist learning party as a major and urgent strategic task and using utmost to do it well." Xi Jin ping, also pointed out:"Reading is not only an important way for the leading cadres to strengthen party spirit, firm ideals and convictions, and improve the spiritual realm, but also meet the needs of promoting the construction of Marxist learning party and learning society. Cadres at all levels must love reading, read good books, and do well in reading."â‘ It is only with the joint efforts of the whole society that building a learning society and building a learning party can be truly realized. In this thesis, the research take the rural grassroots party and government cadres as an object group, and focuses on their amateur reading, rural young party cadres as an object, focuses on reading his amateur status. The study for the improvement of its quality and ability, for the construction of new countryside, and even to promote sound and rapid economic development of rural society will be of great significance. It consists of four parts:chapter one analyzed the significance of strengthening the reading guide of rural youth party and government cadres. Chapter two, in many ways, survey and analyzed the situation and existing problems of reading of rural youth party and government officials. According to the characteristics of rural young party and government cadres and their own subjective and objective factors, Chapter three analyzed and summarized the cause of reading problems. Chapter four raised some constructive guided amateur reading strategies on the rural grassroots youth party and government cadres of young.
