Demonstration Research On Influencing Factors For The Comprehensive Qualities Of National Defense Students

It has been an important way to develop the talented person for our military by training the students in the ordinary universities. In order to enhance the pillars for national defense, more and more attentions have been paid on how to improve the comprehensive qualities of national defense students subject to Liberation Army Headquarters, Ministry of Education and each ordinary university.Based on the target of the comprehensive qualities of national defense students with respect to the development of national defense, four influencing factors that include military and political training, study ability, self-motivation and environment condition, and four comprehensive qualities of national defense students which comprise ideological and political qualities, scientific and cultural qualities, martial qualities, and body and mental qualities have been discussed on the relationships among them. A structure equation model of the comprehensive qualities for national defense students is constructed according to the discussion results above. The analysis on the reasonable and effectiveness of the model is carried on by identifying, fitting and evaluating the constructed model.In order to obtain the analysis data of the structure equation model, the samples from 171 national defense students at 2006, 2007, 2008 degrades in Tianjin University are studied to design the survey questionnaire as well as collecting the research data. Making use of the statistic analysis software SPSS 17.0 to analyze the reliability and validity of the questionnaire data, the credibility and usefulness of the data can be verified.The software AMOS 17.0 is also used to verify the validity of the structure equation model for the comprehensive qualities of national defense students.To achieve the purpose of training the excellent reserve officers for national defense, the research results have contained some academic and actual significance on analyzing the influencing factors for the comprehensive qualities of national defense students as well as guiding the education.
