Designing a good distribution network to enhance the management of distribution under the global agile manufacturing environment can enable the enterprises to satisfy the customer's requirements better and eventually to win in the competition. Optimization model for Supply chain distribution system design in agile manufacturing environment is discussed, which can be divided into strategic, tactical and operational problems. At strategic level, two optimization models, the determinate and the indeterminate, for distribution network design with multi-plants, multi-products and multi-distributing centers are put forward. The determinate parameters, such as customers'demands, are forecasted by generalized continuation forecasting method. The indeterminate parameters are expressed by fuzzy numbers. The way to convert fuzzy constraints to their respective crisp constraints is discussed. The optimization models are solved by a Lagrangian heuristic algorithm. At operational level, after discussing the tradeoffs in the transportation decision, the program and schedule of transportation lines and patterns are described. Tactical models are used to evaluate whether the strategies and polices are rational and effective. A multi-objective decision model is made to evaluate and eventually select the perfect distributors. A multi-echelon fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is discussed to evaluate the agility of whole supply chain, thus upgrade the agility of supply chain.
