Research On The Community Participation Of The Eco-tourism

Ecotourism is regard as a necessary choice for realizing tourism sustainable development, and now it has been an important part of tourism. Since it was put forward by H.CEBALLAS in reference, the experts always have different ideas about ectourism. There is also some research on community participation, but the relationship of each other is not clear. What's more, even the same author has the different express about it, and most of their views are bases on ethics. So it is lack of deep exploration about community participation. This article is tried to make some theories analysis on the base of economy view for the deep research on the management of community participation. This paper consists of five parts.The first part summarizes the research development of community participation. It summaries the main current ideas and points out its disadvantages to get the problems of this article needing to research. The author thinks that we should make a delicate research on the relationship between ecotourism and community participation, and it is not enough only from the aspect of ethic.The second part mainly expounds related theories of exterior effect. This part is the base for the ecotourism analysis. This theory points out three important view to diminish exterior effect: pigow tax theory, coast's property rights theory, and the combination of enterprise.The third part mainly explores the essential relationship between ecotourism and community participation. According to the theories and methods mentioned above, it points out the phenomenon of the tourism resources overuse in the course of the running of the market economy. But the current definition of ecotourism hasn't given the notice of this kind of exterior effect. The author refers to the essential relationship between ecotourism and community participation based on the theory of diminishing exterior effect.The fourth part is a junior research on the management practice of community participation. The process of community participation is a process of thestakeholders' negotiation and transaction. So the author borrows the stakeholder theory to deal with the implication community participation. According to some experts' questioned to this theory, the author analyzes two kinds of model for estate management, and points out the disadvantages of the two vertical management strategies. Lastly, give some basic discussion about the models community participation.The fifth part points out the disadvantages of this paper, and puts forward the work to be done for further improvement.
