Recently a new phenomenon of human migration based on mass tourism ——tourism migration has been highly concerned by foreign scholars. Tourism migration includes two types of tourism labor migration and consumption-led migration. Tourism labor migration has already appeared currently in China, but it has not been regarded by Chinese scholars. The phenomena of "second home"and "seasonal migration"have emerged in some resorts in developed littoral provinces. Research on tourism migration has its realistic necessities and guidance capability. This dissertation takes tourism migration as central subject and has a preliminary study from theory and demonstration. The dissertation is composed of two parts: the first part is about theory study including foreign research progress and researching system's analysis of tourism migration; and the second part is a case study of Jiuhua mountain about tourism labor's mobility and tourism labor migration. Then the author makes a further comparative study with findings of western scholars in order to deeply comprehend the subject. In chapter 1 this paper systematically analyzes foreign researches on tourism migration, and especially emphasizes on four aspects:firstly, tourism migration's macroscopic and microcosmic trajectories, secondly, tourism labor migrations'mobility mode, types, ranks, and functions, thirdly ,tourism retirement migration's concept discussion, classification, motivations, social effects, and relations with lifestyle migration, fourthly, discussion about relations of tourism and return migration. On the basis of sum-up and analysis, the author puts forward the further researching focus which provides references for Chinese scholars. In chapter 2, the paper analyzes the researching system's tourism migration based on the related foreign literature summarization. Firstly the author defines the concept of tourism migration which is classified into two types ,namely tourism labor migration and tourist migration whose concepts are defined and characteristics are described respectively. Then three researching aspects about tourism migration are confirmed, behavioral theoretic researches, motivational theoretic researches, and social impacts researches, and the central contents of the three aspects are ensured and eventually the researching system of tourism migration is constructed. Simultaneously the author puts forward some referential theories such as migratory dynamics, praxiology, sociology, as well as some material study methods such as comparative research, combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis, long-term station observation and some aspects that need further attention. These studies have preliminarily discussed Chinese tourism migration in theory and methods. Because macroscopical conditions of producing consumption-led tourism migration is not mature, the paper takes Jiuhua mountain as the article's case study about tourism labor migration which has emerged but has not been attached importance to by domestic scholars. Study method of quantitative questionnaire survey and qualitative interview are used for two mutual related subjects: tourism labor mobility and tourism labor migration. Tourism employment has its so many positive characteristics such as low threshold, variety, more self-control and easily forming small business that attracts a large number of local and nonlocal labor into tourism industry along with rapid growth of tourism destination economies, and consequently induces human capital mobility in sectors. This dissertation takes Jiuhua mountain as a case study and absorbs partial contexts from the questionnaire applied to study in Hungary and Somerset and Coventry in the United Kingdom, and through comparative study analyzes tourism labor's mobility pattern, self-evaluation of mobility impacts, and mobility motivations in chapter 3. The study found that labors came from an unusually wide range of industries, and the former two mobility industries are agriculture and manufacture. Tourism labors mostly migrated f...
