There was a rapid growth in Zhejiang Province' s GDP with the advance of reform and opening since 1980s.It has resulted in the change of employment structure. The research paper about the employment structure evolution of one country or area was abundant and from all kinds of points of views. But there was little research about Zhejiang province' s employment structure evolution. We analyzed Zhejiang Province' s evolution of employment structurein two aspects. One was industry structure from the aspect of quantityin some sense. After the analysis of the course of Zhejiang province' sindustrial employment structure(IES) evolution, it was considered thatfactors such as particular natural resources, structure of investment, the quality of labor forces, the policy and system made Zhejiangprovince' s IES evolution has its features: The change of IES was fasterthan the average of the whole country; It tend to be more reasonable andadvanced; however, the departure degree between industry structure andemployment structure didn' t decrease obviously; The gap of relativeproductivity didn' t shrink. The integration of Yangtse river delta, acceleration of globalization and the progress of IT will have greateffects on Zhejiang province' s direction of IES evolution. The other was occupational structure from the aspect of quality. Compared with the whole country' s evolution of occupational employment structure (OES), Zhejiang province' s OES changed more quickly and occupations became more and more versatile. But the employment ratio of specialized technical personnel rised little because of the constraint of labor forces' making. The change of Zhejiang province' s policy, industry structure and international trade were the direct causes of OES evolution.
