Study Of The Corporate Culture Based On Enterprise Life Cycle

On a general survey of the development of the whole management theories, in 80's last century, business administration had already entered a new stage of culture management, and large quantities of enterprises are benefited. Meanwhile, at the end of 80's last century, enterprise life cycle theory also began to be ripe, more and more enterprises adopt and get approval of it, which benefit a great deal from it. According to what the author consult, the fact that the relation exist between corporate culture and enterprise life cycle has already been common understanding in present study, but what the relation is on earth is seldom describe. Based on existed corporate culture theory and enterprise life cycle theory, the paper tries to explore the corporate culture in terms of enterprise life cycle, in order to help enterprises to structure its own culture, and then realize the good business performance. The paper is divided into five parts altogether besides preface. The first part has briefly reviewed the development course of enterprise life cycle theory and four-stage life cycle theory; At the same time, concept, types, basic structure and the influence factors of corporate culture, and the relation between the business performance and the corporate culture have been sketched. Furthermore, the study of corporate culture based on enterprise life cycle is proposed from the further analysis on the influence factors. The second part analyses the relationship between enterprise life cycle and corporate culture systematically through enterprise business performance, and elaborates interaction mechanism comparatively fully and accurately regarding new establishment period and growth period of enterprises as the example. The third part describes every environment in every period by use of the analytical method SWOT, then refines out the corporate culture and types should be structured in every stage to offer the ideal culture for every stage. The fourth part divides corporate culture into four parts of spiritual culture, system culture, behavior culture and material and culture based on basic structure of corporate culture. Then evaluate corporate culture by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation assessment to help enterprises to make the current situation of its own corporate culture clear. In the fifth part, two kinds of methods of corporate culture revolution are introduced: progressive and radical type. And the part further studies the choice of culture revolution type in every period and change of every period. Meanwhile, preliminary discusses the basic mode of corporate cultural revolution, and think it can be divided into the following several steps: (1) Assess corporate culture and find out the focus of corporate culture revolution, (2) Establish leading group of enterprise culture revolution, (3) Investigate internal and external enterprise environment, (4) Make the scheme of corporate culture revolution, (5) Implement the scheme of corporate culture revolution, (6) Appraise and control corporate culture revolution, (7) Keep and stabile the achievement of corporate culture revolution. And in this part, the author think corporate culture revolution is a course of circulating constantly in fact. The paper absorbs the existing research results extensively, is based on relevant theories of management, synthetically use such theories as operations research, etc., adopt analyze tools such as SWOT to research, and Hope to announce the relation between the corporate culture and enterprise life through the exploration of this text, to structure corporate culture matched with enterprise stages, then to realize the good business performance and lengthen enterprises'life-span.
