The peasants' problems are always the basic problems in the Chinese revolution and construction. When solving the peasants' problems, protecting peasants' interest is the most important. In all Mao Zedong's life, he made a great effort to protect peasants' interest. He let peasants own farmland, he lightened the peasants' burden, he paid more attention to develop agriculture, he gave peasants education, he safeguarded peasants' legal rights, etc.Mao Zedong's successful policies and methods give us a lot of valuable suggestions to solving current peasants' problems. After the foundation of People's Republic of China, Chinese rural areas have had a great change. The peasants' life is improved a lot. But, to be frank, in the course of Chinese construction, in some aspects, we don't protect peasants' interest very well. If we don't take measures to solve these peasants' problems, it will influence the success of well-off society and socialism modernization. So. we should inherit Mao Zedong's thought and take effective polices and methods to solve today's peasants' problems.
