Agriculture has been fundamental to the building of China since ancient time, and farmers form the majority of the whole nation's population. Therefore, matters concerning peasants are not only the central problems for Chinese revolution and construction in twentieth century but also the urgent issue that must be solved in the process of achieving the goal of building a well-off society in a all round way for China in twenty-first century. Mao Zedong has formed a distinctive outlook on peasants in the practice of leading Chinese revolution and construction. Researching into Mao Zedong's viewpoint on the peasants, pursuing his thinking orbit that he finds and solves the problem of peasants, summarizing his historical experience are very meaningful to solve the peasant's problems which tops the Three Rural Issues in new era.The contents of Mao Zedong's outlook on the peasant are numerous and complicated. It is under the attraction of revolutionary spirit and great strength of Chinese peasants that Mao Zedong begins to pay close attention to peasant's problem. When this theory was put into practice, Mao Zedong became a great winner but left deep regret. On one hand, his peasant's view has a positive meaning. In practice, it leads Chinese revolution to succeed and guides Chinese construction to achieve preliminary achievement. In theory, it not only is the cornerstone of Mao Zedong thought but also contains innovative thinking and spirit that can be used as theory guideline when dealing with peasant's problem. On the other hand, Mao Zedong's view has limitations that cannot be ignored: it loses contact with reality to a certain extent; has fantasy nature and equalitarianism color; there exists conflict between his concrete theory and practice, therefore...
