The Theoretical And Practical Research On Establishing The Civilized And Ecological City

Cities, as the symbol of human civilization, mainly bear the development of the economy, society and the cultural development, and also concentrated embody the human production, life and civilization achievement. With the coming of the ecological civilization, a completely new kind of theories of cities' development and the mold, that is the civilized and ecological city, have emerged. Cities ecology is both the result of human pursuing ecology and the certain trend of future cities development. Civilized and ecological city would become the main direction and goal of structuring the ecology and civilization and developing the modern cities. This thesis discussed the theories of establishing civilized and ecological city and the practical model in a systematic and an all-round way from the combination of ecology, cities layout, philosophy and sociology. And it explored a series of main problems about the theories and the practice of how to establish civilized and ecological cities.This thesis not only expounded the intentions, characteristics and features of ecological civilization and ecological cities, probe the situation, achievements and the shortcomings of structuring a new kind of ecological cities, but also practically analyzed the theoretical foundation of establishing a civilized and ecological city. Then it put forward the practice criterions of establishing the civilized and ecological city, and studied the relationship of the mutual promotion between the cultural civilization establishment and the civilized and ecological city establishment establish, which led to the necessity of city civilization development by integrating theoretics into practices. Furthermore, it analyzed and demonstrated the primary missions of establishing modern civilized and ecological city, which are namely four promotions, including spirit promotion of civilized city, promotion of ecological education, promotion of ecological culture, and promotion of ecological economics, and exemplified above views with two instances of ecological civilized city establishment.
