Studies On Legislation Of Renewable Energy In China

Energy is the important material guarantee for economic and social development. In the mean time, the consumption of the energy exacts a profound effect on environment. With a growing demand of energy in today's society, the development of renewable energy has become a significant strategy for the protection of the world environment. However, the utilization of the traditional fossil energy is becoming contradiction in the energy supplement and the economic development both for its rareness and high pollution. Therefore, as one of the major developing country in the world, the sustainable use of energy is the important strategic field for China to make a balance between population and the living environment as well as promoting the economic growth in order to realizing the sustainable development project. Although the major constituent of China is not renewable, the employment of sustainable energy has developed a lot. A series of policies has been made for promoting and regulating the exploitation and usage of renewable energy. With the economical development and the increase in energy assumption for the energy, the present regulations and laws seem not meet the new requirements. Consequently, the renewable energy industry must be brought within the orbit of law.From the point of view of the situation of energy and the drawback which exists on the current energy in China, this dissertation discuss the possibilities of legislation of environmental law from the angles of social development, energy security and protection of environment and energy.In addition, by introducing the examples of the policies and legislation on the development of the renewable energy in foreign countries together with the current feasible systems in our country, this paper attempts to focus on the possible construction of sustainable law system and propose the suggestions of constituting the legal framework on the renewable energy on the bases of through illustration of theoretical foundation, policy support and practical experience.
