In the 20th century, promoted by the advanced technology of the world, economic development requires not only the innovation in technology but also creativity and capability to enhance the competition of an enterprise during the process of starting a business. Just as Clark, famous educator and president of California University, said : " Universities and industries, two relatively independent domains, with their respective systems, have undertaken each other's tasks." So the close cooperation between them has been the motive power in the development of economy.The thesis states the conditions for the cooperation between universities and enterprises, and the history of its development by the introduction of the cooperative project between the South Construction Material Co. Ltd. (a marketing company) and Hunan University while the writer raises existing problems in the project and possible ways to deal with them. Carrying out the project, those who come from different cultural backgrounds have respective management conception and operation consciousness, and there are some obstacles caused by different cooperative aims. This paper also probes into management problems of culture integration and intellectuals in high science & technology enterprises, particularly how to stimulate those intellectual staff, how to fasten the industrial development of scientific achievements. In addition, to make profits from the positive cooperation of both sides, the writer hopes that universities and enterprises try to establish effective working stage, eliminate the divergences, lead the staff to cope with problems, adopt latest strategies in business development and increase the key competition ability of enterprises as well.With the development of social economy and knowledge-based economy, universities have played a more and more important role not only in training advanced professional talents and pushing forward science and culture, but in transforming traditional enterprises' radiation fountainhead and the source of knowledgeable economy. However, there still exist some problems in the cooperation between enterprises and universities. Thus, it's necessary for both to improve their cooperative consciousness and the working atmosphere. On the other hand, it's fundamental to define the dual identities of university staff in enterprises to keep the project having exuberant vitality due to the reform in university's personnel system. |
