Legal Study On Compulsory Education Of Migrant Children In China

On the basis of the legal nature of compulsory education and concerning rules of Compulsory Education Law of the People's Republic of China, combining with education law and policies about migrant children and the current situation of migrant children's compulsory education in our country, this paper discusses the problems and minus of migrant children's compulsory education in our country. After this, this paper studies the importances of migrant children's compulsory education. Then this paper raises a concept to further enhance and improve the system about the protection of migrant children's education rights in our country to help protect migrant children's education rights in our country. This paper consists of introduction and four chapters. The introduction discusses the legal properties of compulsory education from the development of compulsory education and practicing currently in the world, and give a survey on some concerning rules of Compulsory Education Law of the People's Republic of China. (It is called Compulsory Education Law for short.) Chapter one concentrates on a detailed analysis about education law and policies about migrant children in our country and outlines the current situation of migrant children's compulsory education in our country. Chapter two analyses the problems and minus of migrant children's compulsory education in our country from five aspects. Chapter three studies the importances of migrant children's compulsory education.The last chapter concerns the systematic designing of the protection of Chinese migrant children's compulsory education rights.
