Terrorism has become increasingly rampant and a public enemy to the international society after the end of cold war. The whole world was shocked by the "9 · 11" event and international terrorism has turned into a hot issue in international relations. US-led international anti-terroristic alliance launched the war against the AlQaeda and many other international terroristic organizations located in Afghanistan and Iraq Although some results has been achieved, the terrorist acts still haven't any constraints, but more jeopardizing with more brutality instead. Just as President Jiang said " we insist on opposing any kind of terrorism, strengthening international cooperation, treating the roots and symptoms together, preventing and attacking terroristic acts, striving to eliminate the causes resulting in terrorism. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and realistic importance to constitute our own anti-terroristic theory by reference to international terrorism. This thesis is focusing on analyzing the definition, nature, cause, origin, history, category of international terrorism and its impact on China and international society, which can lead to a better understanding of it as, and to provide a more active and preventive strategy in dealing with the future terrorism.
